TBC Retail Group has opened two new National Tire & Battery (NTB) stories, one in Reston, Va., and another in Dallas, Texas.
To celebrate the store openings, TBC is giving away VIP memberships to customers who donate non-perishable food items. The VIP memberships include a 5% discount on tires and a 10% discount on any service purchased at any NTB, Merchant's and Tire Kingdom store throughout 25 states. The program runs through Oct. 25.
"We strive to support the communities we serve," says TBC Retail Group CEO and President Orland Wolford. "Providing savings and incentives to customers in order to fill the shelves of the local food banks is a win-win."
NTB is part of TBC's Tire Kingdom chain, which has more than 730 locations, making it the second largest independent tire store chain in the U.S., according to the 2009 Modern Tire Dealer 100.
