Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. has promoted Takao Oishi to corporate officer, effective June 27. Oishi is CEO and president of the firm's Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) subsidiary.
He was named CEO and president of YTC this past April, succeeding Norio Karashima, who was promoted to Yokohama managing corporate officer. Oishi will continue to be based in Fullerton, Calif.
Karashima will be promoted to director and senior managing corporate officer of Yokohama Rubber next month.
