VIP Parts, Tires and Service -- one of the country's largest independent tire store chains -- is getting a new look. The Lewiston, Maine.-based dealership is in the process of "refreshing" the waiting rooms at all of its 56 retail locations.

The "facelifts," as VIP CEO John Quirk calls them, will include new signs and other components.

VIP, which also has one commercial tire center, is the 15th largest independent tire store chain in the U.S., according to the 2009 Modern Tire Dealer 100. It carries BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Goodyear, Multi-Mile, Falken and other tire brands.
