Nexen will build second plant in Korea

Nexen Tire Corp. will invest $838.2 million over the next eight years to build a new tire manufacturing plant in South Korea, the company's second factory.

Construction is expected to start in November 2010. Production will begin in May 2012, according to Nexen officials.

The factory will be based in Changnyeong, 390 kilometers southeast of Seoul.
