ABC plans to broadcast an investigation into tire aging tonight (May 9) on "20/20."
The report, which is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. EST, centers around the death of a Lehigh University student who attorneys claim was killed when a nine-year-old Firestone tire separated during a trip. The tire was four years old at the time it was purchased.
Sean Kane, president of Safety Research & Strategies Inc., will be one of the people interviewed.
