Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has introduced two, race-compound 20-inch sizes for the Toyo Proxes R888, designed to fit the new Nissan GT-R, a limited production, Japanese supercar.
"The 285/35ZR20 100Y front and 315/30ZR20 101Y rear fitments are now available at authorized Toyo dealers across the United States," say Toyo officials.
Robert Waytashek, consumer products manager for Toyo, says "with the incredible potential offered by the Nissan GT-R, Toyo felt it was a natural fit to develop (race-compound) sizes specific to this vehicle. With our extensive testing on this car, we found the GT-R achieves a new level of on-track performance thanks to the installation of Proxes R888 tires."
