Alliance Tire Co. (1992) Ltd. has expanded its line of port tires and has entered the mobile crane tire market thanks to two new products.
The Port Star tire is designed for container handling. It sports a high rubber-to-void ratio, wide tread blocks and a flat tread face for "exceptional traction on paved surfaces," according to Alliance officials. It's available in size 14.00x24 in a 28-ply configuration.
Alliance's new Mobile Crane Radial is designed for both off-road and on-road applications. It contains an all-steel casing and special tread compound engineered to minimize heat build-up. It's available in size 16.00R25.
