Kumho Tire Co Inc. has opened its first outlet in North America "dedicated to the Kumho Tire global retail format," according to company officials.

The outlet is located in Buena Park, Calif., and will operate under Kumho's Tires 4U format, which is used in South Korea, China and Vietnam.

"The store offers the opportunity to reach our consumer by providing a dedicated retail environment that sells only Kumho branded products," says J.B. Kim, CEO and president of Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc.

The outlet is owned and operated by Benjamin Lee. It will sell Kumho's full line of passenger, light truck, SUV and competition tires, "and will include state-of-the-art mounting, balancing and alignment services," according to Kumho officials.
