Yokohama wins in Redline Time Attack Series

June 2, 2009

FX Motorsports Development Acura NSX
driver Billy Johnson is on a roll. The Yokohama Tire
Corporation-sponsored racer claimed victory again in the May 30-31
Redline Time Attack Series at Willow Springs International Raceway in
Rosamond, California.  Johnson drove the NSX to RWD Unlimited Class and
overall event wins, as well as setting the series record - 1:18:555 - on
ADVAN A005 racing slicks. Johnson also won the special Super Session
event finale, a wheel-to-wheel, five-lap points race featuring the top
running cars.

This was the second Redline Time Attack race Johnson has won this
season. He claimed the season opener in March at Buttonwillow Raceway in
Central California.

Also winning on Yokohama tires for the second time this season was
Jeremy Toye, who piloted the Reese Tuning Mitsubishi Evo to a Street
Class-AWD victory on the new ADVAN Neova AD08s in 1:28.817.

"Thanks to driving skills of Billy and Jeremy, this is shaping up to be
a very successful year for Yokohama in Redline Time Attack," said Mark
Chung, Yokohama director, corporate strategy and planning. "Both drivers
are leading their classes in points and the ADVAN A005 and Neova AD08
are performing extremely well."

The Redline Time Attack, which features purpose-built 600-horsepower
race cars and highly tuned street-legal vehicles, awards points and
names winners based on which driver achieves the fastest lap time during
competition. For details, visit http://www.redlinetimeattack.com/.
