SEMA touts online learning center

April 16, 2009

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has launched an online learning center, The SEMA Education Institute (SEI), that focuses on product training and professional skills improvement.

"This program has career-path training opportunities tailored to the counterman all the way through the company owner and president," say SEMA officials.

New programs -- including Webinars, courses and other services -- will be added on a monthly basis.

"Ultimately, the (center) will serve as a central repository for continued adult education," says SEI Executive Director Bob Price. "The SEI will provide practical and engaging programs that are accessible right from people's desktops."
