Continental makes a move north to south

Continental Tire North America Inc. has officially moved into its new headquarters in South Carolina -- well, almost.

The "official" opening will be Thursday, March 26, when CEO Matthias Schoenberg will host local dignitaries. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. EST.

Continental also will show off its "Untamed Innovation" mobile exhibit, which features presentations and hands-on displays highlighting tire technology.

Continental's previous headquarters was in Charlotte, N.C. It's new address is 1830 MacMillan Park Dr., Indian Land/Lancaster County, S.C. 29707.
