Did the movie "The Fast and the Furious" start the tuner trend in 2001? No, says MTD Editor Bob Ulrich in the latest edition of his B.O.B. blog. But it certainly exploited the tuner trend, which was gaining momentum at the time.

In his latest blog entry, "Continental and General star in 'Fast & Furious,'" Ulrich takes you behind the scenes at the world premier of the fourth installment of the "Fast and Furious" film franchise.

Ulrich attended the event with Richie Betz, CEO of Reliable Tire Co. They were part of a delegation sponsored by Continental Tire North America Inc., who supplied Continental and General brand UHP tires for the movie.

Will the tires' screen time benefit CTNA and its tire sales? See Ulrich's latest blog entry for the answer!
