TCS announces software giveaway, scholarship donations

March 12, 2009

Tire Company Solutions (TCS) has announced its new, 60-day software giveaway promotion of its Tire Power software suite, to be gifted to 25 tire dealerships.

"TCS has spent over 15 years developing and improving its suite of software solutions for automation of tire shop operations, both wholesale and retail," say TCS officials.

"With its free software offer, TCS is putting its reputation and dollars on the line to prove their dedication to growing the tire industry, regardless of the economy."

"Our primary motivation has always been to assist and grow the tire industry by easing the burden of day-to-day business operations and equipping every employee to sell more tires and provide superior customer service," says Vice President of Business Development, Shawn Puckett.

"We strive to be the best at improving the dealer's business in all areas.  The most essential tool in today's tire business is the IT infrastructure.  We are giving this tool away as a means to improve the most essential part of their business in an economy that settles for nothing less than the best."

While other companies are soliciting the United States government for bailout funds, TCS is providing its own "stimulus package" to new customers who may have the need but not the funds for a product such as Tire Power.

"We are confident the giveaway recipients will be delighted with our product and experience substantial growth to their business. It's a win-win for both parties."

The promotion runs March 15 thrpugh May 15, 2009. Interested parties should contact TCS by phone 1-888-449-8473 or fill out the web form at www.tcstirepower.com to apply for the program.

TCS will select the recipients based on various criteria and will announce the winners at a later date.

The company says the genesis of the promotion is "to springboard dealers into increased profitability, ultimately proving it is possible to thrive in this economy."

According to TCS customer Tom Wylie of Discount Wheel and Tire inTexarkana, Texas, "In this economy, we have sold (fewer) tires than in previous years, but with the tools and partnership provided by TCS, we actually increased our profit margins, improving our bottom line.

"I let the software do the micromanaging of my business so I can focus on what counts."

The new software giveaway is the latest in a history of "giving back to the community" from TCS.

Another ongoing philanthropic effort by TCS is distributing vouchers to potential clients and affiliates redeemable for a donation to various tire dealer association scholarship funds.  Each voucher turned in to the TCS booth at trade shows and virtually at TCS virtual education days yields additional dollars given to the state association's scholarship fund.

About this promotion, "Bulldog" Drummond, executive director of the Arkansas Independent Tire Dealers Association (AITDA) says "TCS has always done a fantastic job of supporting the AITDA.  We look forward to reaping the benefits of this generous gesture of giving back to the association's members and future members."
