GPX International and Trelleborg Wheel Systems have entered into a strategic partnership that will make Trelleborg the exclusive distributor of Galaxy brand farm, OTR, forestry and agri-industrial tires in Europe.
The agreement goes into effect on April 1 and covers 25 countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Norway and others.
GPX will continue to independently market its line of solid industrial, forklift and intermodal port tires in Europe.
"This partnership will strengthen Trelleborg's market position, giving our customers the access to wider portfolio of high quality products," says Paolo Pompei, president of agricultural and forestry tires, Trelleborg.
GPX Chairman Bryan Ganz says the deal "represents the best opportunity for GPX to expand the penetration of the Galaxy brand in Europe."
