Hankook training program empowers dealers

Hankook Tire America Corp.'s new "Hankook Empowerment" on-line dealer training network provides product training, selling tips and other services to help tire dealers close the sale.

"In the current economic climate, customers are shopping around more and are looking to become better informed about their purchases," says Bill Bainbridge, director of brand communications for Hankook.

"By providing product and application education for our dealers, we give them the confidence to recommend our products and in turn, the customer has confidence in their purchase."

Each product line module in the program includes a video introduction, product position guide, sales guide, data sheet and other items.

Dealers who complete all four of the program's training modules by scoring 80% or better on each module quiz will be recognized as Hankook "certified specialists." Those who score 100% on all four modules will receive "elite certified specialist" honors.
