Kumho opens seventh tire warehouse in the U.S.

Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. recently opened a regional tire warehouse in South Brunswick, N.J. The warehouse was its seventh in the United States.

The 150,000-square-foot facility will store up to 225,000 tires and support distribution and dealer partners in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and eastern New York and Pennsylvania.

"The opening of our 150,000-square-foot facility supports our aggressive growth strategy to become one of the top five global tire makers."

According to the Modern Tire Dealer's 2009 Facts Issue, Kumho is the 11th largest tire manufacturer in the world.
