Troy, Mich.-based Tire Wholesalers Inc. has named Ross Kogel Jr. its new president. Tire Wholesalers' founder Ross Kogel Sr. will remain with the company.
Kogel Jr. will oversee the distributor's day-to-day operations. He joined Tire Wholesalers in 2003 after serving as executive vice president of the Tire Industry Association. He most recently served as Tire Wholesalers' director of marketing.
Kogel Sr. founded Tire Wholesalers, which has four locations, in 1970.
