Glastonbury, Conn.-based wholesaler Import Tire Co. Inc. is adding on to its distribution center in that town.
When the addition is complete this coming spring, the warehouse will span 48,000 square feet versus its current size, 24,000 square feet, says Import Tire Co. co-founder Frank Bernstein.
Import Tire is 100% wholesale. It sells a variety of consumer tire brands, including Nokian, National, Dunlop and Pirelli. It also sells original equipment wheels.
