Reliable Tire Distributors plans to conduct the drawings for the winners of its two major 2006 promotions during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week. These two promotions are part of a year-long celebration of Reliable Tire's 50th anniversary.
"Reliable Tire's Fabulous 50 Bridgestone Firestone Promotion began March 1. Dealers who signed up were rewarded with various incentives during three seasonal "micro" promotions.
However, drawings for the final prizes will conclude the seven-month program.
* The "Grand Prize" is a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali featuring 20-inch Bridgestone Dueler tires.
* The "First Place" winner will earn a trip for two to the 2007 Indianapolis 500, including airfare and hotel.
* Two "Second Place" awards feature a trip for two to the 2007 Firestone Indy 200 Nashville Race, including airfare and hotel.
The second promotion -- "Reliable Tire's Golden Anniversary Promotion" -- began May 1. Reliable Tire's eligible retail and wholesale dealers earned points through the purchase of Continental or General tires.
As part of the Grand Prize, 25 dealers will win a luxury cruise for two to the sunny Bahamas scheduled for February 2007. This premier getaway will include round trip airfare for two people and luxury accommodations aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's new ship, "The Pearl."
The Fabulous 50 drawing will be held at the Bellagio Hotel Degas II Room on Oct. 31 at noon. Bridgestone North American Tire LLC officials will be on hand to help in the drawing.
The Golden Anniversary drawing will take place at the Westin Hotel on Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. Senior executives from Continental Tire North America Inc. will be on hand to assist in the drawing. Reliable Tire owner Richard Betz will be present at both drawings.
