Oct. 26, 2006

Hunter Engineering Co. has earned a Best New Product Award from the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). Hunter's DSP600 Digital Imaging Alignment Sensors were nominated for the national award after winning the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) New Product Award in 2005.

Products nominated for the award were judged on engineering ingenuity, functionality, safety, construction, marketing success and economic contribution.

The 2006 NSPE award is Hunter's first after winning three consecutive MSPE New Product Awards in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

DSP600 Digital Imaging Alignment Sensors are designed to speed alignment service, reduce downtime and provide a higher return on investment by using four high-resolution digital cameras to monitor passive targets mounted at each wheel.
