Cooper reported a net loss of $21 million on consolidated net sales of $625 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2006. The company posted a net loss of $5.1 million on net sales of $597 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2006.
Cooper's stock price on the New York Stock Exchange closed at $10.95 a share on Wednesday, Oct. 25. That compares to a 52-week high and low of $16.58 and $7.71, respectively.
