Monro Muffler Brake Inc. has promoted John Van Heel to executive vice president and chief administrative officer and Joseph Tomarchio Jr. to executive vice president of store operations.
Van Heel will be responsible for Monro's real estate and marketing functions, plus logistics, merchandising, training and other duties. He most recently worked as Monro's senior vice president, store support.
Tomarchio will be responsible for the operations of Monro's service and tire stores. He is the founder of the Baltimore, Md.-based Mr. Tire chain, whcih Monro acquired in 2004.
Both will report to Monro CEO and President Robert Gross.
