Miami, Fla.-based South Dade Automotive has named Jose De La Rua its vice president of operations.
De La Rua is a 28-year veteran of the tire business and previously worked for Miami, Fla.-based Martino Tire.
His responsibilities will include managing the operational end of South Dade’s distribution efforts, among other duties.
South Dade Automotive does business in a number of South Florida markets and also exports to the Caribbean, Central America and South America. It sells Continental, General, Pirelli and Falken brand tires.
