Oliver Rubber Co., a division of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., is promoting its VDi Plus technology, which is found in several of its precure tread products.
VDi Plus acts as a visual depth indicator as well as a stone ejector, say Oliver officials.
It reduced foreign object retention, "which decreases the usual stone drilling conditions and casing penetration issues that typically occur in the trucking industry."
