The Reifen 2008 international tire fair will be held in Messe Essen, Germany, May 20-23, 2008.
The number of exhibitors (473 from 42 countries) and visitors (17,100 trade buyers from more than 80 countries) to Reifen 2006 reached new records compared to the previous show in 2004, increasing 15% and 8%, respectively. According to show organizers, about half the visitors used Reifen to place orders or negotiate deals "to the point where orders were ready to be signed."
To date, 84% of the visitors have declared they will be back in 2008.
The Tire Industry Association (TIA), which sponsored Reifen's United States Pavilion in 2006, already has expressed its support and sponsorship for the 2008 show.
