Maloney retires from Tire Warehouse Central

July 19, 2006

William Maloney, corporate controller for Tire Warehouse Central Inc., has retired after 23 years of service.

Maloney joined the Tire Warehouse team in 1983. His contributions to the company's growth were significant; his tasks included, but were not limited to, the overseeing of all financial and information technology services for the company.

He reported directly to CEO and President Robert Dabrowski, who was instrumental in the search for and recruiting of Maloney.

An avid and locally recognized golfer in New Hampshire, Maloney resides in Keene with his wife, Maureen. He has three grown children, Michael, Kathleen and Colleen, and two grandchildren.

Keene, N.H.-based Tire Warehouse Central has 35 stores and 14 franchise operations in the northeastern United States. It is the 24th largest independent domestic tire store chain, according to Modern Tire Dealer's "Top 100" list, published in its July issue.
