Autopromotec 2007 will be held in Bologna, Italy, May 23-27, 2007. The event will spotlight tires, retreading, auto repair equipment, diagnostic tools and other products, say organizers.
"Our team has already set to work on the 2007 edition," says Renzo Servadei, directing manager of Promotec, the company behind Autopromotec.
The 2007 event "will take up all the challenges of the (automotive) market in a very dynamic context. The auto repair world is undergoing a quick change. On one hand, the constant improvement in car quality lowers the need for garage services, but on the other hand, it makes the same services more complicated and more expensive."
Autopromotec 2005, the last year in which the event was held, drew 1,107 exhibitors representing 43 countries, in addition to some 93,000 attendees. More than 15,500 of those attendees were from outside Italy.
In related news, Spanish artist Joaquim Falco has created a new logo for Autopromotec 2007. The logo depicts a stylized wrench holding a car.
