ASA introduces updated version of TireMaster

May 26, 2006

ASA Tire Systems has released Version 7.2.0 of its TireMaster software. Based on input and requests from current users, the new version was designed to offer independent tire dealers increased functionality.

Along with the benefits that TireMaster users receive at point-of-sale, Version 7.2.0 offers enhanced security features, additional control over user accounts, new reporting features, and expanded marketing tools. One of the most significant changes is the new service checklist, which can be used to track recommended vehicle repairs.

"Users can remind customers about services that are needed with postcards and at point-of-sale when they return for their next visit," says Jodi Roach, TireMaster support manager.

Users also will notice a difference in TireMaster's reporting functions. With the new version, they can customize the report screen by creating lists of frequently used reports. Users also can indicate whether employees are allowed to print specific documents.

The new security interface, used in conjunction with the new report menu, gives ASA customers "more control and capabilities," says Todd Andersen, development manager.
