The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) will hold a workshop to answer questions about test procedures for the agency's new pneumatic radial tire safety standard for vehicles weighing 10,000 pounds or less.
The workshop will be held on July 11 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, a suburb of Akron, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event "will be limited to discussing (test procedures) and will include a tour of a local compliance test laboratory," say NHTSA officials.
"Tire manufacturers, tire importers, vehicle manufacturers, tire suppliers, tire testers, and other interested persons with technical interest and knowledge of light vehicle tire compliance testing are invited to attend."
