New look unveiled for Firestone Complete Auto Care outlets

May 4, 2006

Test marketing for Firestone Complete Auto Care outlets' new look is currently underway at 15 stores in the Raleigh-Durham, N.C., area.

The stores are owned and operated by BFS Retail & Commercial Operations LLC (BFRC). Open houses are being held this week in Durham, N.C., for the press and community leaders with appearances by Mario Andretti.

New features for the stores include exterior and interior signage promoting the three areas of services provided (maintenance, repairs and tires); new menu boards showing services and pricing up front; consultant pods which allow for more one-on-one communication with store teammates; and more comfortable waiting areas.

Customer input is being sought as the company moves forward in the continual improvement process, the company notes.

Bill Perdew, chief operating officer and vice president of Strategic Planning for BFRC, said, “Our company’s goal is to provide a positive experience for our customers every time they visit us. Customers in the Raleigh-Durham area will find the same great products and services with a new look that we believe will help make their experience with us even better.”

Firestone Complete Auto Care also recently launched a new Web site, FirestoneCompleteAutoCare.com, which provides consumers with an easy-to-navigate resource for their car care needs.
