Nokian Tyres plc plans to spend four million euros to boost its production of heavy-duty radial tires in Finland.
"The investment includes the whole production process, i.e, component manufacturing, tire assembly and curing at the heavy tire plant in Nokia, Finland," say Nokian officials.
"The investment enhances capacity increase of Nokian's Tractor Industrial 2 product line, launched in 2004, and of Nokian's Country King product line, launched in 2005, to better meet with the strong growth in demand."
Nokian's heavy tire capacity will grow by 10%.
