Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp., is increasing its sponsorship support of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Toyo is the official tire of the combat sports series, which boasts an international contingent of fighters who do battle in a ring known as "The Octagon."

As a part of the increased sponsorship package, the Toyo logo will appear in two prominent locations on the canvas, and on two bumpers inside The Octagon. In addition, Toyo will be recognized as a sponsor by announcer Bruce Buffer, during both the weigh-ins and fights.

UFC events will take place both at the Mandalay Bay and Hard Rock Hotels in Las Vegas, Nev. On April 15th, the UFC will hold its first-ever fight in California at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim.

"We are pumped to be involved with this growing sport, and to be a part of the historic first event in California," says Dana Zamalloa, senior marketing communications manager.

UFC events are broadcast live on Pay-Per-View; select matches also are aired on Spike TV.
