Warsaw, Mo.-based Benton County Tire recently gave a 42-inch plasma TV to a customer.
The giveaway was part of a promotion developed by Friend Tire Co. of Monett, Mo., for key Michelin dealers. It involved nearly 50 dealers throughout nine states.
Michelin North America Inc. helped fund the promotion.
Friend Tire is celebrating 50 years in business. It distributes tires throughout 22 states out of eight distribution centers.
Friend Tire recently announced the formation of Nationwide Tire Dealers, a marketing services group, that will offer an extensive umbrella of services to its independent tire dealer members.
