Two seminars added to World Tire Expo agenda

Two more retread-related seminars have been added to the list of World Tire Expo offerings. The 2003 World Tire Expo will be held March 26-29 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Ky.

The new seminars are:

* "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Retreading and Repairing." To date, seminar leaders include retreaders Bob Majewski of Sumerel Tire Service Inc. in Newport, Ky., and Mike Berra Sr. of Community Tire Co. Inc. in St. Louis, Mo. Ed Wagner, president of Tire Technical Services Inc., and Marvin Bozarth, senior technical consultant for the Tire Industry Association (TIA), also will be part of the panel.

* "Today's Technology for Inspecting Tire Casings." An in-depth look at the latest in shearography, ultra-sound and other nail-hole detection technologies.

There will be some 20 panel discussions, seminars and presentations at the World Tire Expo.
