ASA promotion benefits Gulf Coast relief efforts

Feb. 21, 2006

ASA Tire Systems is donating nearly $5,000 to the American Red Cross as part of its 2005 matching allowance program.

The donation is part of the company's year-end product promotion, which followed an initial ASA donation made last September in direct response to the Gulf Coast devastation.

ASA Tire Systems offered every customer and prospect that purchased software during this promotion an increased allowance. In return, ASA pledged to make an incremental matching contribution on behalf of each participating customer to the American Red Cross in early 2006.

Participating in ASA's promotion were the following tire dealers:

* Gem City Tire, Dayton, Ohio.

* Action Gator Tire, Orlando, Fla.

* Shrader Tire & Oil, Toledo, Ohio.

* Tires Unlimited, Winter Haven, Fla.

* Jackie Cooper Tire Distributors, Oklahoma City, Okla.

"We wanted to do our part to assist in the long rebuilding process created by the devastation that Hurricane Katrina caused," says President Wayne Croswell. "We have many customers in the Gulf Coast area that were affected.

"This donation promotion gave our customers the ability to take part in the disaster relief efforts simply by placing an order with ASA. It was a win-win for both our customers and the victims of Hurricane Katrina."
