Michelin North America Inc. was named best original equipment passenger and light truck tire in the recent J.D. Power and Associates OE Tire Customer Satisfaction Survey.
"Tires are a key component of vehicle performance and owner satisfaction, and we work very closely with our vehicle manufacturer partners to tune the right tire for each vehicle," says Tom Chubb, vice president of marketing, Michelin Automotive Industry Division. "This close development partnership results in an excellent driving experience for consumers."
According to J.D. Power surveys, Michelin has been the "best original equipment tire for passenger vehicles in customer satisfaction" the last five years and eight out of the last nine years.
It has been the "best original equipment tire for light truck vehicles in customer satisfaction" the last three years and six out of the last seven years.
