Family Tire grows to 3 stores in N.C.

Family Tire & Auto Service recently celebrated the grand opening of its third location in style: Race car driver Mario Andretti was present to "cut the ribbon."

The new 12-bay facility was built from the ground up in the Freedom Village Shopping Center in Jacksonville, N.C. The shopping center is anchored by a Walmart outlet and Lowe's home improvement store.

The store carries Bridgestone, Firestone and Michelin tires, and offers complete automotive and light truck service. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including two Hunter alignment systems.

Family Tire is owned by David and Denny Bucher. They opened their first location in New Bern, N.C., in 2005. Another store in Morehead City, N.C., followed in 2009.
