Tire Discounters hits 80 locations

Tire Discounters Inc. reports it is expanding in Ohio with a new location in the Reynoldsburg area of Columbus.

The newest store, which opens to customers Friday, Dec. 21, is the 13th Tire Discounters location in the Columbus area.  

"The Reynoldsburg community really welcomed our first store with open arms, so we’re especially excited to open our second store in the area,” says Jamie Ward, Tire Discounters executive vice president. The new store will increase Tire Discounters’ total expansion in 2012 to 15 stores. Tire Discounters is number 10 on the 2012 Modern Tire Dealer 100 list of top independent tire dealers. It now has a total of 80 locations. 

The new location will feature eight service bays and 10 employees. Tire Discounters locations also offer other products and services, such as wheels, shocks and struts, brakes and automotive repair.  The store will be open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Established in 1976, the company has remained under the same private ownership under the leadership of Chip Wood for the past 35 years. Since its inception, Tire offers all-inclusive pricing; free four-wheel tire alignment with purchase of four tires; lifetime balancing and rotation, and nitrogen inflation of all installed tires.
