Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will once again host its Engineering Career Day for Young Women on April 19.
The program -- which is for students grades six through 12 -- will take place at Goodyear's global headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
It focuses on exposing young women "to opportunities available in the engineering and science fields and careers that can be launched from an engineering background," say Goodyear officials.
"Students will learn about the different engineering disciplines, participate in hands-on activities, and interact with local professionals."
