Every day is Veterans Day at Big O

Nov. 12, 2012

Big O Tires LLC will continue its commitment to veterans of the United States Armed Forces through its Vet Fran Program. The program waives the $30,000 franchise fee for qualified veterans when they open their initial Big O Tires franchise.

“We understand that veterans face many challenges returning to civilian life, especially in workforce development,” says Kevin Kormondy, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “It is our goal to help lessen that burden by providing them with the opportunity to be their own boss and run a successful, well-supported business.”

In addition to waiving the $30,000 franchise fee for veterans, Big O assists new franchisees with everything from site selection and financing to build-out and grand opening. Additionally, the franchise includes:

* protected market areas,

* on-going support with product and service selection,

* national marketing support, and

* training.

Based on worldwide sales, Big O is No. 101 in the "Top 200 Franchise Chains" list compiled by “Franchise Times” -- and fifth in the "Top Automotive" category.

Big O is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The company says its success "lies in its proven business model, exceptional franchise support system, and strong franchisee base."

Big O is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TBC Corp. and part of the TBC Retail Group. For more information on Big O franchises, visit www.bigofranchise.com.
