SEMA Show, Day Four: new Toyo app

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has developed an iPad app in collaboration with Source Interlink Media. It is available on iTunes.

The application was introduced at the 2012 Global Tire Expo, which is part of the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Assocation) Show. It provides "easy access" to Toyo product information; that includes the following:

* training,

* product features and benefits and

* size information and specifications.

The mobile resource also takes advantage of multi-media. People can access product videos, commercials and photos. In addition, they can view media stories that were published about the specific products they are viewing.

"Our new iPad app is a dynamic marketing tool that provides immediate access to the most current product information, making it easier to teach dealers, their staff and consumers about the benefits of Toyo tires," says Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing.

The Toyo iPad app also can be used as a presentation tool at events or trade shows. Tire sizes and specifications are accessed directly from the company's main website.

The app features 18 of Toyo's most popular products, including the new Open Country A/T II.
