Hankook hires Denlein as senior vice president

Hankook Tire America Corp. has named Shawn Denlein as its new senior vice president of marketing and sales for the United States region, effective Oct. 1, 2012. He fills the spot vacated by Todd Hershberger in February 2011.

Denlein will be responsible for elevating brand positioning, driving sales and increasing Hankook’s market share in the U.S. He has close to 17 years of experience in the tire industry.

He most recently served as director of sales for Yokohama Tire Corp.’s consumer division.

“Shawn’s experience and understanding of the U.S. market makes him a valuable addition to the Hankook team,” says President Soo Il Lee. “As Hankook continues to grow in the United States, Shawn will take a leading role in our marketing and sales efforts.”

Denlein will work at Hankook's headquarters in Wayne, N.J.
