Tire Group International hires industry veteran

A familiar name in the tire industry has joined Tire Group International LLC (TGI) as vice president of program sales for its domestic division: Bill Hirst.

For more than 33 years, Hirst has worked in the passenger, light truck, truck, industrial, agricultural and OTR tire segments. His experience includes being:

* executive vice president of sales for TBC Corp.

* vice president of sales and marketing for Treadways Corp.

Hirst's responsibility is to help expand TGI's market share in the U.S. "The ability to offer exclusive brands, with an extensive size line up, along with territory protection is the perfect recipe for success,” he says.

“Our commitment to focus our strategies to grow individual markets continues to be a priority," says Willie Kramer, vice president of domestic sales. "Domestic sales have grown significantly over the past six years, and Bill’s addition to the team will help continue to build our private brands and expand our markets.”
