The 2008 Pontiac G8 performance sedan will use Bridgestone Potenza RE050A ultra-high performance tires as standard equipment on the G8 GT model and optional equipment on the car's base offering, both in size 245/45R18.
Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) also is supplying an optional 245/40R19 94W Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tire for the G8 GT.
"Based on the market Pontiac was targeting, as well as the performance level of the vehicle, we knew that our Potenza RE050A would be a perfect match," says Michael Martini, president, consumer OE tire sales, BFNT.
Both Pontiac models will be available next month.
