Federal Corp. recently received the 2012 Taiwan Excellence Award, presented annually by the Ministry of Economic Affairs at Taipei International Convention Center in Taiwan.
The award recognizes not only Federal’s ability to build high-quality prdoucts, but also its reputation as a reliable tire supplier. In this case, the tires judged for their excellence (against 1,145 total products) were the Federal FZ-201 semi-slick competition tire and Couragia F/X asymmetric LSUV Sport tire.
The selected products must meet the criteria in four categories:
1. innovative value,
2. unique design,
3. good quality, and
4. international brand capabilities.
"The fantastic reward is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our colleagues in delivering the very best of products and technology for our customers within and beyond Taiwan," says Geoffrey Chang, who manages Federal's marketing department.
“Being acknowledged by such an outstanding achievement, while having our own brand name from across the tire industry to highlight Taiwan's image, and to let the world know about Taiwan is overall a win-win situation, which gives us an advantage to establish international recognition in a country level.
"It is a significant contribution to our brand enhancement, as we have well represented a company philosophy and excellence by using the renowned platform to showcase our latest innovative and stylish tire development," he adds.
