Matco launches ratcheting wrench line

July 31, 2012

Matco Tools says that to help technicians face the challenge of working in tight, cramped spaces, the company has reengineered its ratcheting wrenches.

The line now includes a 72-teeth line and the only 90-teeth line on the automotive market, both guaranteed to get in and out of tight spaces faster, says Matco.

The improved ratcheting wrench design includes a 15-degree Knuckle Offset and best-in-class swing arc for enhanced performance that saves knuckles. The Knuckle Offset also grants easy access to small, confined spaces.

The 7 and 9 Series are also constructed with higher carbon alloy steel for long-lasting quality and a ratcheting mechanism that’s twice as strong as ANSI standards.

“The 7 and 9 Series Ratcheting Wrenches are the strongest, most useful ratcheting wrenches on the market, and show our commitment to providing innovative solutions to our technicians,” says Hilda Shipcka, senior product marketing manager for Matco Tools.
