Sears Holdings Corp. has recognized Hunter Engineering Co. as a 2011 Partner in Tranformation, and has awarded the company the prestigious CEO Award for Innovation.
Hunter Engineering says it received the honors "for making a significant contribution to the growth of Sears Auto Center business by providing new technologies to better serve Sears customers."
Sears Holdings granted the awards to an elite group of supplier companies that have been helping support the transformation of Sears Holdings through innovation around customers, core retail excellence and financial and operational discipline. Of the more than 30,000 suppliers that work with Sears Holdings, less than one half of a percent have receive these awards.
Hunter Engineering was the only supplier to receive the CEO Award for Innovation.

Recipients are selected from nominations submitted by Sears Holdings’ associates who purchased goods and services from suppliers in 2011.
