H&H tire repair tech gets 'schooled' by ITRS

July 2, 2012

Adam Eggers, lead section repair technician for H&H Industries Inc., has made it to the next level, thanks to International Tire Repair Solutions Inc. (ITRS).

Eggers, 28, is an ITRS level three repair technician. He was trained by Wayne Jackson, owner of ITRS.

Eggers has been an OTR tire repair technician since joining H&H out of high school in 2001. He leads a 12-man repair group spread over two shifts.

Tires sent in for repair range from industrial and agricultural to 59/80R63 haulage tires. Egger and his team currently repair an average of 15 units a day utilizing ITRS training, "belt replacement technology" and repair materials on a large percentage of radial-ply tires sent in for repair by customers.

Egger's certification as a master trainer follows H&H’s commitment to offering the most up-to-date training to its employees.

H&H President Noah Hickman says Jackson has trained many of his employees over the years. "With us, safety is number one."

H&H Industries is based in Oak Hill, Ohio. It is 23rd on the "Modern Tire Dealer Top 100 Retreaders in the U.S." list.

ITRS is based in West Vancouver, British Columbia. For more information, visit www.tirerepairsolutions.com.
