Bridgestone replaces Michelin at Speedco locations

Speedco Inc., a subsidiary of Bridgestone Bandag LLC, has added Bridgestone and Firestone truck tires to its line-up. The Bridgestone brand will replace Michelin as the premium new tire brand at Speedco's 51 truck lube and tire locations.

Speedco also sells Goodyear, Yokohama and Dunlop new tires and Bandag retreaded tires.

"The addition of the Bridgestone and Firestone brands enhances our offering with best-in-class tires in the popular sizes our customers are looking for -- from the common 295/75R22.5 to the ultra-wide 445's," says Mark Clark, Speedco president.

Speedco will feature the Bridgestone R280, M726 EL, R195 and Greatec series and the Firestone FS590 PLUS, FD690 PLUS and FT455 tires as part of its total tire offering. National account pricing is also accepted.

In addition to tires, Speedco tire lanes offer tire inspections and air-up service, flat repairs, balancing and tire rotation. As a courtesy, all Speedco customers can have their personal tire gauges tested and calibrated free of charge just for stopping in.

Bridgestone Bandag has an 87.5% interest in Speedco Inc., which is headquartered in Cayuga, Ind. Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc. is the parent to Bridgestone Bandag.
