Martins debuts world’s largest tire safety cage

June 4, 2012

Tire storage equipment manufacturer Martins Industries says it has teamed up with Rio Tinto Mining to develop and build the world’s largest tire safety inflation cage.

“After eight months of research and development of this monster cage, we are proud to announce the launching of this new product, capable of safely inflating mining tires with diameter of up to 110 inches and 48 inches of width,” said Martin Dépelteau.

“This cage strengthens our leadership position in the field of inflation safety cages around the world.”

The new product makes for a total of eight different standard inflation cages manufactured by Martins Industries.
